Welcome 117 families!

My name is Meghan and I am so excited to be spending the year with your student and to be here at Marcy! I've been working This is my 7th year in Minneapolis Public Schools. I've worked as a tutor, Associate Educator and classroom teacher. 

I completed my undergraduate degree at the University of Minnesota (go Gophers!) and my teaching license and Masters at Augsburg College. Attending the U of M, I fell in love with Minneapolis and decided to stay here instead of moving back home to Madison, Wisconsin. In my free time I love to take my pup Minny to the dog park, hang out with my cat, Bruno, exercise, and try new restaurants! 

I am so looking forward to this year! Building relationships is my favorite part of teaching and I can't wait to get to know all of my students and for us to create a fun, safe, and engaging learning community together.
