I have been a teacher in the school district since 1991.  I earned a BS degree in Elementary Education and Special Education from Mankato State University.  I also earned a MS in Special Education with a focus on Emotional/Behavior Disabilities in 2002 at Mankato State as well.  I have worked with students with disabilities in grades Kindergarten through Eighth grade throughout the Minneapolis school system.

I have been working with middle school students here at Marcy since the fall of 2010.  My goal for each student is to experience the classes here at Marcy to the best of their ability.  We strive to assist students to achieve their greatest independence.
