Greetings and welcome to 7th/8th grade English Language Arts. My name is Camille Kohner and this will be my 30th year in teaching.  I taught 12 years at a parochial school in NE Mpls. and this is my 18th year with MPS. I taught 9 years at Andersen Open in S. Mpls. and then 8 years at Nellie Stone Johnson before coming to Marcy Open.  

Besides being an educator, I am a wife and mother.  My husband Steve and I will be married for 29 years this October 2015.  We have 3 sons that keep us very busy.  Our oldest son is 26 years old, graduated from Rider University in New Jersey in May 2011 with a degree in Radio/TV Communications, and is currently still living out East and working at Amazon.  Our middle son is 24 years old, graduated from Minnesota University-Mankato in May 2013 majoring in Sports Management and Marketing, and is currently back living at home and working at Medtronic. Our youngest son is 21 years old and is a senior at University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire majoring in Graphic Design and Advertising.  He is also a four year center playing on the Men's Basketball team.

I am an avid reader; especially mystery novels by a variety of authors.  I also like taking nice quiet walks or working out, bowling, golfing, and doing yard work/home projects. Spending time with family is important to us, so traveling is something we do a lot of.
