Welcome, my name is Nina Smith.  I have been teaching in Minneapolis since 1999.  I have taught 5th, 6th and 7th grade math and worked as a math coach for Minneapolis Public Schools.

Teaching math has always been my passion and I am excited to share that with the Marcy Open School families.

A little bit about myself, I am originally from Wisconsin but have made Minnesota my home.  I live in Saint Paul, with my husband and two children, Henry and Thea.  We love the outdoors and anything on the water.  Most of our weekends are spent trying to fix our old house or at the cabin fishing and swimming.
