Welcome, my name is Nina Smith.  I have been teaching in Minneapolis since 1999.  I have taught math 6th and 7th grade math for 11 years and am excited to begin my second year as a math specialist.

Teaching math has always been my passion and I am excited to share that with the Marcy Open School family.

A little bit about myself, I am originally from Wisconsin but have made Minnesota my home.  I live in Saint Paul, with my husband and two children, Henry (6) and Thea (2).  We love the outdoors and anything on the water.  Most of our weekends are spent trying to fix our old house or at the cabin fishing and swimming.
