Happy Friday!

Monday, June 3: 12:20 is the end of the year play. Please plan to attend. RSVP/invitation will come home in the Friday folder. You can come for lunch 11:40-12:10, 12:20-12:50 will be our play, 12:50-1:15 will be memory book viewing (you get to take it home), 1:15-1:45 we will have popsicles on the playground and play/visit.  Plan to stay for the whole event 11:40-1:45!

Field day is Thursday from 10-11:30. If you can volunteer to help out, please email me. 
Our week at a glance:
Reading: We finished our reading assessments and you all should have received a separate email from me describing where your child is at and how to assist your child this summer. We will finish our non-fiction unit on farm this week.

Math: We are becoming better detectives for growing and shrinking patterns.  Ask your child to sing you a song that has a growing or shrinking pattern in it!

Writing: We read all the books for our plays and voted for the play we will be in.  You will see your student’s play in the Friday folder. Keep it and rehearse lines with your student. The play is June 3rd. Mark your calendars!

Social Studies: We are studying national holidays and the reasons we celebrate them.

Friday Folders- 
Math homework-color fish pattern as instructed.
Reading: plays are coming home. Your child’s part is highlighted. Please help them read their parts….then memorize their part.
Barnes and Nobel summer reading logs are going home. It is a great way to earn a FREE book!
RSVP for play/lunch is in the Friday folder.
