                                                        May 3, 2013
Happy Snowy May Day!
It is official. My toes retreated back into regular shoes. This weather is crazy!

Reminder: No school on Monday, May 6. It is the last week of afterschool classes. If your child usually goes to after school classes, please let me know their afterschool plans after May 9th.

Flip Flops: Yes, flip flops are allowed; however they become an issue on the playground. We must keep shoes on at recess (for safety reasons) and it is very hard to run and play in them (another safety reason). We are not going to take the time to change shoes for recess so it is best if they wear recess/gym shoes all day long. I’ll let you make the decision if you feel flip flops are safe for your child, but it they become an issue (coming off feet) I’ll let you and your child know that they will need to wait for weekends to wear them. (You all know how much I love flip-flops so this will be hard for me!)
