Dear Families,

We had a busy week with assessment and assignments. The students did a wonderful job at the Mississippi River on Tuesday.  They obtained a water sample and drew a picture of their observation.

On Monday, October 3, we will be going to the Northrup Auditorium to see a Brazilian dance troupe.  We will be leaving at 9:45 and returning by 12:30.  We will eat lunch as usual at  Marcy.

Look over the October calendar.  We have parent teacher conferences, some days off, and many fun activities.  I will be sending home slips and reminders as the month progresses.

Next weekend, the Project Speak group will be showcasing the art that we created last year.  Please let me know if you misplaced the flyer I sent home last week and I will re-send it.

Thanks to all who have returned the beginning of the year papers.  I will be contacting you if any are missing.  Please feel free to send an email, write in the daily folder, or call.  I want to be of service to you and your student.  Have nice weekend and I’ll see you all back on Monday!
